Work for us
The Haemophilia Society is a dynamic organisation committed to providing first-class support to, and advocating for better access to care for, people with bleeding disorders.
As a small but ambitious team, the work is both challenging and rewarding and we are always on the lookout for experts in their discipline to join our team located at offices near London Bridge.
We recruit for both paid and volunteer roles. Vacancies will be listed on this page.
The Haemophilia Society is seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive to take over from Liz Carroll, who has recently stepped down after 6 years. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the organisation’s future development and in leading the charity to the successful achievement of its objectives, in line with strategies, policies and plans approved by the Trustees.
For full details about this role and how you can apply, please see here.
If you are interested in becoming a Youth Ambassador or otherwise supporting our work please head over to our Volunteering pages.
Board of Trustees
Trustees are volunteers who draw on personal experience of living with a bleeding disorder, or wider knowledge and expertise in e.g. charity governance, fundraising, finance, communication, advocacy, understanding of the NHS or government relations.
The Society’s board of trustees meets six times each year to give strategic direction to our work. Trustees are responsible for governing our organisation, and as a smaller charity, they make a real difference to what we do.
To find out more about becoming a trustee, please contact Clive Smith, chair of trustees, by phone 020 7949 0780 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are interested in becoming a trustee, elections are held each year. You can find out more from the supporting documents below.
